Quick Answer
Moonton released Mobile Legends patch 2.2.30 on the advanced server, and the list runs long. Atlas loses one second of Frigid Breath duration. Masha’s passive damage drops. Aldous trades early skill damage for stronger skill two uptime. Melissa also wins back part of her late game damage, and Gloo wins a full revert of the experimental nerf.
Moonton just dropped Mobile Legends patch 2.2.30 on the advanced server, and the notes run deep. The update bundles nerfs, buffs, a couple of full reverts, and a heavy batch of skin news into one release.
Even so, advanced server patches never arrive final. Numbers can shift before the original server sees them, so treat this rundown as a live preview rather than a promise.
Below, you’ll find everything that matters, hero by hero.
Hero Nerfs and Buffs in Mobile Legends Patch 2.2.30
Seven heroes moved in this patch. Some took damage, others got tools back, and one earned a straight apology. Meanwhile, our Mobile Legends news coverage tracks each of these shifts as they happen.
Masha
Masha’s passive dealt too much sustained damage in the late game, so Moonton pulled it back. The extra physical attack bonus drops from 1% to 0.5% of her extra physical attack. On top of that, the level bonus falls from 0.3% to 0.2% times her hero level.
Her ultimate, however, got better news. Moonton reverted the earlier reduction, so the base damage climbs back from 240 to 480 up to 300 to 600. Expect her to chip a little less over a long fight, then swing harder once the ultimate is ready.
Aldous
Aldous lost last week’s skill one damage buff. As a result, his base damage returns from 300 to 500 back down to 200 to 450.
Skill two covers the gap. The cooldown now sits at 9.5 seconds at all levels instead of the previous 12 to 9.5 range. Meanwhile, the damage reduction climbs from a flat 30% to a range of 30% to 55%. He punches softer early, but he soaks far more punishment.
Atlas
Atlas took a targeted hit to his passive. Frigid Breath froze enemies too often, so Moonton shortened the duration from 5 seconds to 4 seconds.
One second sounds minor. Even so, in crowded team fights that missing second means fewer freezes and less time for the rest of his kit to follow up.
Kaja
Kaja’s soaring state finally got love. Skill two, Soaring Wings, now grants faster turning speed while soaring, which sharpens his controls mid-air.
Two new effects extend airtime as well. While soaring is enhanced, basic attacks that hit enemies slightly extend the soaring duration. Hitting enemy minions with skill two while soaring also extends it. Because of that, Kaja can stay in the sky far longer.
Kagura
Kagura only received a quality of life tweak. Moonton optimized the visual indicator for the maximum separation distance between Kagura and her umbrella, so her spacing reads clearer at a glance.
Melissa
Melissa’s story is the oddest of the batch. Moonton said the changes from the previous patch hit harder than intended, and the studio apologized to Melissa players.
Because of that, Moonton reverted part of the nerf to restore some late game damage. Skill 2’s damage transfer moves from 52% at all levels to a range of 50% to 60%. In addition, the attack effect inheritance ratio shifts the same way, which now matches her basic attack damage transfer.
Gloo
Gloo wins a full revert. Moonton rolled the experimental changes back, so skill one explosion damage climbs from 200 to 350 up to 230 to 380.
Equipment and Battlefield Changes
Equipment tuning focused on counters. The item that punishes attack speed heroes now reduces the attacker’s attack speed and attack speed cap to 80% instead of 75%, so it bites a little less.
A second defensive passive got stronger. That item now reduces the attacker’s physical damage by 8%, up from 6%. Because of that, tankier anti-damage builds deserve a second look.
On the gold lane, fighters had taken over in high tier ranked and professional matches. To fix that, siege minions in the gold lane now grant extra gold up from 40% to 60% in the early game, which gives marksman room to farm again.
Moonton also reverted last week’s golden turret changes and swapped in new values from the original mechanics. Base turret HP increase rises from 1,000 to 2,000. Outer turret team gold drops from 100 to 90, and inner turret team gold falls from 140 to 120. Towers now hit harder, but they pay out less.
System Adjustments in Patch 2.2.30
The auction house gained an item source entry. It lists auction house items available from the bank card event, so rewards trace back more easily.
In addition, Moonton temporarily disabled the trial version of Community academy, which returns in a future patch after further optimization. The studio paused custom UI setups for left hand medium and large buttons for the same reason.
Tablet players, however, get one concrete win. Moonton optimized interface layouts on tablet devices.
Skin Surveys and Upcoming Events
Moonton runs surveys for Angela and Carrie, and neither result has locked in yet.
Angela skin survey
Six designs sit on the table, and each design comes in two versions, a light one and a dark one. In the WhatsApp channel poll, design six leads with 436 votes. Design three follows at 82 votes, while design four sits at 75.
Kagura’s legend skin
Moonton teased Kagura’s new legend skin, Feast of Eternity, as part of the Double 11 Mega Sale. A leaked event banner points to November 6, so diamond savings should start now.
Collector skins for November and December
November brings Bruno’s new collector skin. December follows with Lolita’s Dragon Charmer. Both months, however, remain subject to change.
December’s returning lineup includes:
- Harith Psychic
- Ruby Prismatic Blue
- Wanwan Pixar Blast
- Hanzo Soulfire Nether Lord
- Nia Christmas Carnival
- Kimmy Astrocat
- Charles Dragon Boy
Collaboration artwork
New Avita collaboration artwork shows Angela and Kagura. Reports describe Angela’s skin as a free reward through a farming event. Kagura’s skin, meanwhile, sits in lucky flip, where players need three lucky cards to claim it.
Lucky flip details look early, and Moonton has not established the final cost. Even so, extra MLBB heroes appearing in the artwork do not confirm collab skins, since the report lists those appearances as promotional.
SpongeBob collaboration artwork teases the return event around November to December, with Cyclops appearing as SpongeBob alongside Patrick and Mr. Krabs.
Worth Watching Next
The clearest pattern in patch 2.2.30 is how quickly Moonton walks changes back. Nerfs landed, apologies followed, and reverts arrived within a single update, which usually signals more balance passes close behind.
