Patch 2.1.42 just hit the advanced server – bringing solid tweaks along with it.
From tweaks to hero stats to a fresh way to gather cosmetics – also loads of visual improvements here and there
this update shapes what’s coming next. Here’s a look at all the key details.
Hero Adjustments in Patch 2.1.42
Benedetta – Partial Rollback With Damage Boost
Benedetta’s old passive tweaks got rolled back. Her draw-sword attack motion returned to normal
the old rhythm came back, bringing comfort to her moves. So they boosted how much harm she deals with slashes
between 200% and 215% of her full physical damage. She strikes stronger yet doesn’t seem too hard to pin down anymore.
Angela – Small but Meaningful Nerf
Angela’s ability to cut cooldowns when linked to a teammate now drops it by 50%, down from 60%. Instead of the old rate, it’s slightly less powerful mid–fight. This tweak lowers how often she can use key skills during combat moments. The change makes her support timing more limited overall.
Though small, this clearly cuts down her staying power during extended battles.
Joy – Massive Sustain Upgrade
Joy got a major boost this update. Her ult now heals her twice as much – spell vamp jumped from 50%.
up to 100%. Still, hitting the beat just right gives smaller life steal now – was 40%, now it’s 25%.
She’s way tougher to take down, yet hitting exact spots doesn’t pay off as much.
Ling – Late Game Buff
Ling now gains more from attack speed – boosted from 40% to 60% – so those items hit harder. While before it was weaker, now each point gives bigger returns. Since the scaling went up, builds focusing on speed feel stronger. Instead of underperforming, they actually pay off.
This boosts his damage over time in longer battles while keeping how he usually plays the same.
Minotaur, Mathilda & Lylia Adjustments
Minotaur’s big move now drags foes down by 30%, not just 20%. Cooldown’s shorter across every rank.
Mathilda’s ability improves faster later on, so her attacks feel sharper. Her reach grows stronger as matches drag out.
Lylia got better in small ways – mana use went down, while her later abilities cool off faster.
Nerfs: Yve, Baxia & Zhuxin
Yve’s ultimate cooldown got longer, so she can’t roam as much at first. Meanwhile, Baxia hits less hard in the early game
slowing down his pace in the jungle. Zhuxin weighed longer crowd control against more explosive damage.
The Universal Collector System Arrives
One big feature in Patch 2.1.42? The Universal Collector. To unlock it, you’ll need
Half a million pickup spots – loaded with slick entry animations plus a top–tier lobby sign.
The setup works in levels, giving you various prizes – like these
- Trial skins and emblems for Amateur Collectors
- Premium edges plus message shapes at top levels
- Skin-sharing gifts for Mega and World Collectors
World Collectors might trade skins as many as 15 times, so now collection spots mean way more than before.
New Skins, Visuals & Cosmetics
Some Legend outfits got fresh trail looks – like Granger, then Lesley, also Gusion.
Saber’s Legend look was updated visually. On the flip side, Lancelot and Odette received anime–style designs
are coming soon, might set you back about 2 grand in points.
We even saw Marcel for the first time – fresh visuals, full set of abilities shown. No fluff, just clear shots of his moves and style
suggesting she takes charge in the story.
Events, Free Rewards & What’s Next
Fans will enjoy fresh avatar frames, cool taunts during fights, unique moves – each one a surprise. No fluff, just fun stuff added in
also fresh profile cards. The Exhaust line’s back for another round, whereas the M7 ticket
gives free-to-play users an exclusive look without paying.
Looking ahead, January brings Harley’s Starlight skin and a revamped Legend skin,
as February rolls in, Hilda’s Starlight shows up with a streak behind it.
